Take a Tour Tuesday

Take a Tour Tuesday, this week we are visiting the guest bedrooms.

I do have a guest bedroom but I use it as my office. The only person that visits often is my sister and she is attached to Peanuts hip while here so she sleeps with her. We decided to have our home fit our needs and not the needs of those that visit, sorry She.

The room is located right off of the living room and next to my favorite bathroom. The view from my desk is my backyard and the play-set. I love being able to watch Peanut and her friends playing!

I am ready to change things up a bit in here, maybe this summer I will slap on a fresh coat of paint and whip up some new window treatments, I'm thinking brown and pink, or black and pink???

Since this room is a complete disaster from all of the end of year projects I'm working on and the stack of It's Personal orders I'm recycling pictures from a post I did a while back along with a few new ones.

My "desk" is actually a very old table. I love that it's big and that it doesn't matter what I get on it.

Peanuts old changing table is now in my "office". It holds most of my scrapbooking tools and some of my paint. I bought the paper racks at a store that was going out of business, I so want to redo this room...maybe soon.

Some of my ribbon sits on shelves, it's really here just for the look and for the girls to come a grab a piece for their hair.

The slanted shelves hold my finished scrapbooks, Cricut machine, pictures waiting to be scrapbooked and finished pages waiting to go in a book. When it comes to scrapbooking there's never an end in sight!

This is what my desk always looks like.  A pile of crap in every available spot and a little liquid energy in a 44oz cup. Babe hung this metal above my desk about 3 years ago with the promise to frame it for me...maybe this summer he'll I'll get around to it! It holds some of my favorite photos, It's Personal orders, favorite quotes and little love notes the girls leave for me. I think I will enjoy it much more once it's been framed *hint hint*.

There you have it my "guest" bedroom. Now don't forget to link up below with Mr. Linky, remember it still works it just doesn't look the same yet, so I can see yours! It's the whole I'll show you mine if you show me yours thing!

School's out in just 2 more days!!!!!!

Happy Tuesday Y'all!

I love that you have the ribbons available for the girl's hair! And the metal above the desk I think is awesome! This is fun!

Love your room! I don't have a guest room so I must skip this week, but I'll be back. Oh and I'm jealous of the Cricut. One day I'll be able to afford one...Love them!

I love your room! All the shelves! Look at all your scrapbooks you got done...you go girl!

I think a pink and black or pink/brown would be adorable too!
Good luck with the frame!

Love the room! I so wish I had a space where I could just make it my own and do my scrapbooking and whatever other stuff I have going on! Mine is up!

I love this space! I love that you were able to snag those racks for the paper and are all organized.
(I can't believe your kids are out of school this week! Ours aren't out until the 18th!)

Great room...lots of craftiness can be done here! Isn't it fun to have room to spread out? Right now I share my craft space with the kids, but in the future at our next home (whenever that may be)... Watch out! I'm gettin' a room ALL FOR MYSELF. ;)

Our guest bedroom is a blow up mattress in the play room. ;)
