What a good,good day!

Oh I had such a good day today...

I took Honey to school, she's a student volunteer for the summer camp program at the elementary school, then came back home and crawled back in bed for another hour of sleep. ~good!

I did several loads of laundry and apparently the laundry Gods were on my side because every sock that went in came out. ~good!

Cleaned the family room, living room and kitchen inside and out, top to bottom before noon. ~good!

Saw Deja in the pool and laughed because I thought there was no way for her to get in. I returned to the living room a few minutes later to find a wet and sandy dog laying on my freshly mopped floor, my search revealed a open laundry room door, damn dog is smarter than me! ~ Not so good but funny, no!

Enjoyed a 44 oz Diet Dr. Pepper from Sonic that I did not have to pay for {thanks Danielle}. ~yummy & good!

Showered without anyone knocking on the door in need of something. ~good!

Went for a pedicure with Honey, Peanut is away at camp and having a blast, and was asked if I had any children because they thought she was my little sister! ~ VERY GOOD!

Enjoyed a large Monster Lo-Ball coffee chiller. Obviously I was still tired and needed a little more caffeine. ~good.

Went shopping with Honey and found lots of cute stuff including a very adorable dress for $20 and towel gloves. Yes, towel gloves, I'm a sucker for good packaging. The concept is to slip your hands in and use the towel gloves to dry your dog, with Deja being in the pool a dozen freaking times a day I'm up for anything. ~good!

Came home from a great day with Honey to find Babe cooking filet on the grill, my favorite dinner. ~ GOOD!

I have another good day planned today, the first summer trip to the beach! The only thing that could make that better is if I were a rock hard size 4, hell I'll take a rock hard size anything but since that will never happen I'll just make the best of it with my rolly-polly self! I swear if anyone pushes their finger in my tummy a loud Giggle will be heard by all, picture the Philsbury Dough Boy and you got it.

Just because this is a rather boring post I have decided to add a random picture to it. For real I have no clue what this picture will be~ I'm choosing the 8th picture in the 15th file in my iPhoto program... OK well that's just not an option so I'm trying again...the 21st picture in the 17th album {those are my girls birthdays}...

Living in Florida we do not get to enjoy the changing of seasons. I grew up in northern Illinois and really miss Fall and Spring. I can do without Winter, but the smell of the crisp air and the colorful trees in October, the first night you walk outside and the air isn't cold enough to take your breathe away in April, I miss that! My sister has boxed leaves from her farm every year for the past 9 years and mailed them to my girls. They look forward to this every year and start watching for the boxes the first of October. Because of my oldest sister they know what Fall smells like.

Each year we dump the boxes in the front yard, with much complaining from Babe, and they play in the leaves with their friends for days. This picture was taken on October 27, 2005. They have grown so much over the past
3 1/2 years!

I know there's a carnival out there that's similar to this but I can seem to remember where I saw it. If you want to play along please pick 2 numbers, make the first number the folder and the second the picture. I went oldest to newest because I love to look back, you do whichever makes you happy. I'll be waiting to see what pictures you post!

Happy Wednesday Ya'll!

What a great day you had! I love that your sis sends the girls leaves in the mail. How cool is that!? I would frame that picture and it would be part of my fall decor each year.

Too cool that your sister sends you leaves, I bet it's a HUGE hit with the girls and their friends!
