It's a rainy day. I should be painting. But instead I find myself sitting in front of the computer in a complete and total funk staring out the window.
It's been a long week. My Dad had surgery, my house was hit by lightning, I've had endless repair men out, we hosted a 4th of July party, my nephew was hurt, I've waited on pins and needles for his surgery report, Deja had a semi-emergency spay this morning {I'm going to get her now} and Honey and I saw a 20-something year old laying dead in the road IN FRONT OF MY ENTRANCE just an hour ago. This poor kid was driving too fast down the street on his motorcycle when an older gentleman who apparently did not see him pulled right in front of him. It was a sight I will not soon forget and the thought that Honey will be driving in 13 months scares the crap put of me!
All of this to say that while blogging today, instead of working, I read Heidi's post about Jill who turned me onto My Live Signature and now I have my very own signature!

Oh, it sounds like you have had quite the week (or more)! I'm so sorry to hear about all that you have gone through. I'm praying for some kind of break for you and your family (even your dog!)

There was once a bad motorcycle accident fatalaty that happened in front our our house. It was the worst thing I've ever seen. It definitely stays with you for a long time.
