Day 3 of 27
I'm thankful that my hubby is coming home today!
Babe has been in Philly watching catching a World Series and Flyers vs. Lightning game. He flew there with the Lightning, spoiled much?
I hate when he's gone but at the same time I welcome the no need to do anything freedom that comes with his absence! I'm still in jammies, we had Arby's and Sonic for dinner and the house is a wreck! He does not expect or even ask that things be any different when he's home but I think he deserves it. He works all day and when he comes home the house that he works so hard for his family should be in order, his wife should look good enough the he has no desire to look elsewhere and he should have dinner. Old fashioned? Maybe. The way it works for us in our successful marriage of 17 years. Absolutely!

Call me old fashioned, but I like your theory. I'm the same way with Greg and actually get some snotty comments about it. But hey, my man sure doesn't mind ;)

I LOVE that we set a good example, its worked for me almost 52 years. I'm thankful this 3rd day of Nov. for a little sunshine, cooler temps, low humity and all my stitches out of my eye lids. I can blink easier now, my my the things we take for granted. lUV MM
I like that old fashioned way of thinking too...except I really need to work on that part of the wife looking good when he gets home thing!
Ditto shortmama! Especially when I was a SAHM. I fell into a pattern of not looking good most days! It helps to work outside of the home for me anyway! Kuddos to those SAHM that look great every day!
My Michael will be leaving tomorrow for 3 days! I've been so spoiled lately since I've been back to work! sigh...although it will be nice to relax and do nothing if I want to! At least for 2 days! ;o)

That is so true! Not old-fashioned at all, but proper. I can't always make it happen (if the house is clean, I look like something the cat coughed up... If I'm lookin' fine, the house is a mess) but it is definitely something I aspire to.
