We are home from a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation in Wisconsin/Illinois.
We made a quick stop to Sonic for a quick fix, going 9 days without my beloved DDP proved to be a challenge!
The dogs have finally settled down.
The suitcases are unpacked and I'm on load #2 of 502!
Honey's BFF was picked up on the way home from the airport because they were having withdrawal.
Peanut, my little anal wonder, has had her bags unpacked, dirty clothes sorted in the laundry room, clean clothes hung back up in the closet and been showered for 2 hours and we've only been home for 2 1/2!
Mail has been sorted, pizza has been eaten, the exploded toiletries have been cleaned and I've popped a sleeping aid.
The best part to coming home....My Mom and Dad not only took care of the dogs while we were gone, Rogue was apparently a little shit, but my house was spotless and my bedroom looked like this when I walked in. Clean sheets that have been pulled back ready for a very tired Mommy to crawl into, seriously, do I have the best parents in the world or what?!!?

That is awesome, your parents sound wonderful! My mom has stayed with me for 2 nights each time after I have had a baby... never has my house been so clean! She scrubbed every surface & did every stich of laundry including sheets & every couch snuggle blanket. Maybe that is why I keep having babies... it ensures a super clean house will follow. LOL :)
What a sweet mommy you have. So glad you are back safe and sound and that you enjoyed your trip.

Nothing is better than coming home to your OWN bed after being away. So, I gotta wonder if your anal Peanut is actually related to me...? I always have to have stuff done AS FAST as I can when we get home from somewhere...weird.
