Today is my Daddy's birthday, yes I still call him Daddy.
I have the best Daddy ever!
He's the one that I call when I need something fixed.
He's the one I call when I've tried to fix something my self and it's gone horrible wrong.
He's the one I call when I don't feel like leaving the mall in time to be at the bus stop I'm stuck in traffic.
He's the one I threaten to call when Babe won't fix something. Oh, how he loves to hear me say, "that's OK, I'll just call Daddy".
He's the one that hates to smile for pictures, hates being the center of attention, loves to put on a big tough guy front but is the most tender hearted man I know.
He's the one that had a less than Leave it to Beaver childhood but came out of it determined to give me and my sibling one.
He's the one that saves his less than wonderful comments for when no one is around, or at least when he thinks no one is around. I'm on to you Daddy!
He's the one that wouldn't say a word when he didn't like dinner but would instead quietly get up and get the loaf of bread and peanut butter and sit back down to make a sandwich.
He's the one that has loved my Mother for 51 years and has showed me what a marriage full of love looks like.
He loves Jesus and his family.
He is...my Daddy and I love him so very much!
