A pictures worth 1000 words

You know the picture that is "you" when you sign up to be a follower via Google Friend Connect? Mine is a picture I took with my Mom last February, yes I cropped her out, whatever, it's a good picture of me! Some of you choose to use pictures of your pets, flowers or other inanimate objects, weird to me but hey that's just my opinion it is after all your decision.

My point is this. I know you all by your picture. When I visit other blogs I can at a glance see that one of my friends is one of this persons friends and if my friend likes this blog than I know I'll like it so I'm going to become a follower. Understand? It's really a very easy system.

So here's my question. Why must you jack with your pictures? I mean I can totally understand if you've say, lost 100 pounds or have a new nose but other than that I see no reason to change things. You see there are people out there like me that need consistency. People like me that have the memory of a gnat. People like me who when they loss a reader really want to know which one left but cannot because the pictures aren't the freaking same!

If you're able to read between the lines you now know the real reason behind this post. Yes, I have lost a reader and I'm totally bummed!

WHO?

WHY?

Was it something I said or maybe something I didn't say?

You know what? It could be that my memory, you know the one that's the size of a gnat, actually forgot the number of followers I had during November's 27 days of Thankful because I'll fess up I pre-posted all of those and took a little break. So yes, that's what I'm choosing to believe because the thought that someone would be angry or bored with me and want to leave just can't be the case....Can it?

If you must change your profile picture change it in Facebook but for all that is holy leave your Google picture alone!

Happy Wednesday Y'all!

I'm sorry you lost a follower! I was pretty perplexed one day when my number went up one then down one by the end of the day. Who was it?!!! Then I found out. SonyaAnn. A Mom, money and more blog. She had accidentally deleted her blog and was so bummed out about it. I only realized it was her when someone else that was close to her emailed me wondering where she went. Good luck! You're way past 100 already, so it's all gravy! Stay warm today! It's cold here!

I'm sorry you lost a follower. I lost one, too. (I had all of twenty-four WOOHOO) and it was because I wasn't a follower of hers. I read her blog, left comments but she left. When I followed her blog she came back. Strange, huh!

Too funny. I have changed mine 3 times in almost 2 years...but haven't changed it since I follow you. No worries I will try and keep this one just for you. I hate losing followers too. Makes me sad too.

I was just thinking about changing my picture. It's been a year. I've lost 45 lbs. does that count? ;O)

I've done the same thing on FB and here. Who was it, why? Anymore, I try to ignore it...and say...whatever!

You're so funny. I'm totally guilty...I jack with my picture every once in a while. It's not that I've had a nose job or lost a considerable amount of weight (although I wish I had). It's usually because I find another pic that I like better (one that makes me look thinner). I'll try to not change mine...for a while. Sorry you lost a reader. It is a bummer. It happened to me a while back...I actually lost 2 in one day. Oh well. Can't please everyone, right?

Hope you have a great day!!♥

I lost two followers but gained three more a couple days later. I figured out who it was, and I quit following them! Bwahaha!

It wasn't me!!! But you just scared me into not changing my picture... I was totally planning on it too. The one on there now is a family pic & I now have a new member. I haven't gotten a new family photo taken so I don't know when I will be changing it... I promise to let you know when I do ok. : )

It sucks to lose followers! I lost 2 so far, and I have NO clue what the heck did it. I mean, neither of the posts I did on the days I lost someone were offensive...? I didn't think anyway. But I have poor judgement on deciding if something is offensive cuz I tend to be inappropriate moste of the time. Anyway, that's all I've got. :0

Changed mine in the past few days, but changed it back to the original cause my nose was squished up and I looked like little Miss Piggy! Don't you love how you look good in a regular pic, but when you're squished to a 1 inch x 1 inch pic, you're not recognizable...anyway, check out my blog http://stellaaboutthebeach.blogspot.com yeah, yeah, working on my wit and humor...I think I'm funny.

I notice when my numbers go up and down too. I mentioned it to HH the other day and he reminded me that I a) shouldn't let it bother me; and, b) am being a crummy writer and reader lately, so what do I expect.
I haven't changed my profile pic in forever, and definitely don't want to unless I lose this weight!
:)
(I love you pic, btw)

i know I wish there was a feature that alerted you as to the EXACT person who stopped follow you! That would be awesome huh! We need to call blogger and get that working!

I'm still here...and I changed my pic after Summer because I was at the beach in the photo...and once it got cold here in the NE...it just did not seem right...I got cold looking at myself! OH! Plus I got my hair colored darker...so that counts right!?
