F-Bomb Friday

Some weeks come and go with no F-Bomb Friday story, others have too many for me to count. This week happens to be one of the weeks were I had to draw a story from a very full hat!

I suffer from insomnia. There are nights that I don't go to bed unto 4 in the morning. That was a little easier to tolerate when it was summer and I could sleep until noon or nap in the sun at the beach. But now that schools back in full swing and I have to be a grown up and get up with my kids {well only one, Honey's on her own} it sucks big time! I found a new "natural sleep aid" and it seemed to be working well. I was sleeping like a rock and was able to get up in the morning without feeling drugged. That benefits of that wonderful new little pill only lasted a few days before it turned its ugly head and started making my life miserable. I'm waking up in a complete fog and ready for a nap within the first 30 minutes of my day. I will not be taking those anymore!

Tuesday morning was one of those "head in the clouds" kind of morning. I got Peanut off to school, started my day with some laundry and the dish washer and climbed back in bed.

About 30 minutes later I hear a text come in.

Then another.

And another.

So I got up to check my phone, knowing it's Honey needing me to bring her something to school. I was right.

I quickly threw on some clothes and a hat grabbed the papers she needed to have in hand in less than 10 minutes and jumped in her brand new. I used her car because my sweet husband had taken mine to work with him for a full detail, he's good like that.

Her car is parked in the third car garage.

Mine is usually parked in the big section of the garage.

Babe leaves his car at the top of the driveway.

I swing her car out of the driveway backing it up far enough for me to pull right out.

Do you see where this is going?

I freaking backer her brand new car into the back of Babe's car smashing back ends together. At this time I may or may no have let out a very loud F-bomd before jumping out to see that I had done damage....to both cars!

Time was ticking so I ran the paper up to school only to be greeted by a smiling Honey. I know that smile, something was up. She, not knowing what had just happened, told me that she really didn't need the paper after all.

SERIOUSLY!!!!

I returned home to survey the damage. Honey's car, not so bad. Babe's car, not so good. I waited until he was in the car on his way home to tell him the news. He took it very well. He asked if the backup sensors failed to go off, I replied with an I don't know I was in a hurry. Then he asked me if the backup camera was broken too. Sometimes his attempts to ease the tension don't really work!

He's estimated the damage to be somewhere around $1400 and we are responsible for all of that!

Super!

I waived the white flag, declaring Tuesday the winner, popped 2 little pills and went to bed!

No wonder you had a hole in your jammie crotch and didn't know it!

Who has time to pay attention to a back up camera and sensor? Geez! I think YOU need some retail therapy after your week! lol

I hate those kind of days! I guess the bright side is that Wednesday couldn't be any worse so you at least knew you were going to have a decent day.

The only good part of this story for me is knowing that I can't ruin my brand new car.

Argh! I hate those days - I feel your pain!

You need to become a mean mom like me. Last year I implemented "If you leave it home, you suffer the consequences". I haven't regretted it once!!

But seriously...I am soooo sorry about your car - that sucks big time!

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Oh My gosh! You poor thing! What did you do to Honey? Was she just screwing with you, or did it turn out she didn't need them after all? If it was the former, I'd just wring her little neck! Ugh!
