My doorbell should be ringing within the next 2 hours. Why does that make me happy? Because when I open the door one of my very best friends and her kiddos will be standing behind it!
SQUEEEEEE!
We have so much in common including taste in clothes, we once showed up for a surprise party wearing the exact same thing {only hers were 5 sizes smaller}.
We had a close as sisters relationship, saw each other almost daily, and talked on the phone hours everyday. We worked on charity events together, planned parties together laughed together and cried together. I cannot tell you how many times I would pick up the phone to call her to find no dial tone only her voice saying "hello, hello" because she had beat me to it by seconds. We had all of that before she moved. I was so sad when she moved to Atlanta but I supported her move wholeheartedly, it was where she needed to be without a doubt! Now we're separated by hundreds of miles and her work schedule prevents us from talking as much as we would like but other than those two things nothing else has changed!
So for the next 3 days we will be together again. I wonder how Babes gonna feel when I tell him the blow up mattress in my office is really for him because she's sleeping with me so we can stay up all night long talking!
Yep, I'm pretty darn happy today!

I love how your bestie surprised you. I just did that this week to my friends also after moving to Boston from Seattle. OH, and I told the Husband the same thing about the blowup mattress in the office. :)
By the way, youre '5 sizes larger' bum still looks good :) I dont mean that in a weird way... Thats so cute that you showed up wearing the same thing.
