Here's a little more information on how this meme works. There are four of us co-hosting, Impulsive Addict, Janette, Mamarazzi and yours truly. Each week we will take turns asking the questions, if there is a question you would like asked please email me and I will do my best to include it one of my weeks. I'll be sure to give you the credit, with a link to your blog, if I use it!
So that being said the four of us have collaborated and would like it if everyone could please follow three simple rules. I know, I know, I hate rules too but...
1. Please include our supah cute button on your post.
2. Please link your WWTK post to the linky {if you need assistance please ask}.
3. Please mention and link to all four of us, adding a link is not that hard and it shows you care!
Easy enough right?
**ONE MORE REQUEST**
I like to comment as I read, which may or may not be because I have the memory of an anorexic gnat, and would so appreciate it if you would enable your pop-up comment window! Not sure how, it's just 4 easy steps. 1.} Go to your settings tab. 2.} click on Comments. 3.} Click on Pop-up window in the Comment Form Placement section. 4.}Save Settings. Thank you, now I am a happy girl!
Last week Mamarazzi asked questions pertaining to friendship. It was great seeing everyone's answers and I was pleasantly surprised to see how many of us included our husbands! On three. One, two, three, aweee!
This week I'm asking the questions. I'll be asking random questions because a little Random Madness is good for ya!
So as Simon used to say, Off We Go.
1.} What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Are you an eyes or a smile person? Maybe another body part?
2.} If a movie was being made about you who would you like to see cast to play you? And would your movie be a comedy, drama, romantic-comedy, action film or a horror movie?
3.} Does your senior yearbook include a senior comment section? If so share what you said about your future goals. Have you met those goals? If you do not have a yearbook just share an old picture and let us know what your goals where when you were 18 and if you have met them. If you're brave enough, include your senior picture!
4.} What latest trend simply baffles you?
5.} When you walk into a room how do you present yourself? Do you walk in with confidence and command the attention of others or do you slink in and do your best to go unnoticed?
How's that for random? My answers are below, please stick around and take a look.
1.} What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Are you an eyes or a smile person? Maybe another body part? I would have to say their smile. A nice smile with clean teeth is a must. Now back in the day, when I was single, I would do my best to see a guy coming and going before I made a decision on weather or not I was going to let him persue me or not! And I'm not gonna lie I would also try to bump into him to see how firm his chest and arms were. I'm just sayin'!
2.}If a movie was being made about you who would you like to see cast to play you? I think I would go with Charlize Thereon. Babe has told me several times that he thinks I look like her. Each time he has said that the girls weren't home, he thinks I don't know what he was after! I just hope he was referring to the way she looks on the left not on the right!
3.}Does your senior yearbook include a senior comment section? If so share what you said about your future goals. Have you met those goals? I was so poetic in my senior directory! I was quoted saying, "I plan on furthering my career in the beauty field and to be married in the 90's." Wow, if I didn't know better I'd say maybe I was stoned! I did however accomplish my goals, I finished beauty school and did hair for about 8 years before moving across country married to my Sweetie!
If you're brave enough, include your senior picture! Yeah, I'm not skeered! My Senior picture {class of 1988} is so funny! I was attending cosmetology school at the same time so my hair was always being cut, permed and colored. Over processed was not in my vocabulary! I don't know where the color copy is and that's a good thing. My hair was butter yellow with dark outgrowth the result of a color class gone wrong. I also have on more Maybelline electric blue eye shadow than should be legally allowed! And no, I was not stoned!
4.}What latest trend simply baffles you? The return of the 80's. My oldest daughter is a sophomore in high school, I was a sophomore 25 years ago and she is wearing the same stuff I did. Leggings with long shirts, lace and neon colors {they make me look so tan, she says}. I swear if high waisted jeans rolled at the ankle, perms, huge bangs and side wings come back in I may need to be institutionalized!
5.}When you walk into a room how do you present yourself? Do you walk in with confidence and command the attention of others or do you slink in and do your best to go unnoticed? It depends on the type of event I'm attending. If it's a gathering of friends I walk in very comfortably and start chatting with my friends. If it's a formal event I walk in on the arm of my man {taller than him I'm sure because I'm wearing heels} and I always feel confident and beautiful when I'm dressed up and by his side. If I'm walking into a setting where I do not know anyone, a work function for him, I stay close to his side and fairly quiet until I find someone I'm comfortable with. For the most part I am fairly confident and friendly in any setting.
Now it's your turn. Copy the questions, write your post {don't forget to include the button and a link to Impulsive Addict, Janette, Mamarazzi and Me!} and come back to link up!

You married your high school sweetheart? Awwww. I can see the Charlize Theron resemblance for sure.
Yeah, we can ignore the bangs but what about that collar all popped? Holla at a playa!!
I linked up! This is fun!
{http://mom2memphisandruby.blogspot.com/}
your senior picture makes me laugh...but only because of the hair style times...LOL other than that you are gorgeous and of course I can expect no less in your senior photo. ....I can see the Charlize theron resemblance!
And thanks for explaining the pop up box comments, I do like the pop up box but my blog was not set up that way!! Love bloggy help!
Ah, the upturned collar, those were the days. And spraying your hair with a whole can of Rave and then drying it so it could get super crunchy. I love the 80's! We could make a fortune if we had saved all of those clothes!
We are twins. Same hair style...same yellow hair. I desperately wanted to be a hair dresser when I was in high school and my Dad discouraged me.
I hate the new 80's revival. HATE!
My blog was set up correctly. YAY!!
P.S. CLASS OF 89!!
I would have been class of 88 but the cut off for kindergarten was Sept 10th and I was born Sept 11.
Girl you are ROCKIN those bangs and upturned collar! You are straight out of Breakfast Club! Gotta love that!
Lol 80's are back and I hate it! Although I did love to rock out the half pony tail with the scrunchy, the long shirt with one side tide in a knot, biker shorts, puffy socks scrunched down and to top it off my high tops!
Love the acid washed jean jacket--so required for high school in the 80s.
The 80s are totally back--it's just not quite so oversized as it was back then.
The 80's are SO coming back..I was just talking about my daughter's love for high top Nikes...really oddly colored ones at that!
I love your high school picture!
Very good random questions this week...now I need to see if I have my pop up window on!
A nice smile and good TEETH-completely agree!!!
I can see the resemblance of Charlize. She's hot too! Well, the pic on the left is hot.
Storybook life? *GAG* and *JEALOUS*
Wow. I didn't know you did hair for 8 years! Do you miss it? I wouldn't have the patience to be a hair dresser.
BWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That pic is HYSTERICAL!!! I totally had those bangs in 88 too!
I'm done with the 80's. Let's move to the 90's. I can rock some of those trends again!
The picture on the right of Charlize, oh man.. But I like the pic on the left!!
Loved answering your questions and reading your answers!
We said the same thing for the trend.. yes really is weird that the 80's are back.
And yes you definitely look like the pretty Charlize :)
Great questions today!
Firstly - thanks for the comment about the comment box. I try to not get annoyed with bloggy actions but that one kills me. I need to make sure I comment on everything possible and I can't do that if I'm on a page of just comments! Ahhhh!! Sometimes I'll have like three different tabs open for ONE blog!
Secondly - I think it'd be hysterical if tall bangs like the one in your pitcture came back, can you imagine the increase in AquaNet sales? Now THAT'D be stock worth investing in!
I so forgot about jeans rolled at the ankle lol! I even remember the one's that were "two toned" one leg was one color and the other leg another color. How awful huh? Lol..
Yeah I wore them damn it! Don't judge me hehe!
Good teeth: yes.
Charlize Theron: yes.
I could totally see a rom/com for you.
Your senior picture...Your hair. Did you drive a camaro?
Rolled at the ankle pants...pegging, right? And you had to RE PEG THEM ALL DAY LONG because they kept unrolling.
You're awesome. :)
The 80's they were so weird! LOL!
Do you miss doing hair? I wish I did something like that sometimes, I just don't get hair. Hence the everyday pony tail and super flat hair. Oh well.
Your hair is definitely so classically 80s in that picture! I think Charlize would definitely make a good Shawn!
I LOVE your picture! I bet you were a popular girl.
Also? I'm totally LOVING the return of the 80's! My parents weren't big on letting me have all the fun, trendy stuff - so I'm loving re-living the 80's with 3 daughters! You can bet they get the fun, trendy stuff!
Also, I too am taller than my husband when I wear heels!
I'm sorry I missed this week...it is such a super fun one! But I had to blog about my best night ever coming up tonight!
Love ya!
OK. First, I totally see the C. Theron resemblance (The first pic, btw). Second, are we supposed to pick someone who looks like us or who acts like us...?
I love your story (and your Sr. Pic!) Love! The bangs! Good grief Charlize Brown!
(I also love that you said to enable their pop-up windows!)
Thanks for the little comment box tutorial - I'm going to change mine as soon as I'm finished here.
If my hubs told me that I looked like Charlize, I think I would do just about anything he wanted (after I stopped laughing at him).
LOVE the acid washed shirt. And the hair. HELLO 80s!
I agree with you - the 80s could've/should've stayed in the 80s.
Thanks for some great questions! This little meme has been so fun.
A nice firm chest! YES!
Loving the Sr. picture! I also took cosmetology when I was in high school, never did anything with it though.
I love your high school picture, and Honey looks like you in your senior picture.
Smiles are the first thing I notice, too.
I was class of 87 and there are many similar photos in my yearbook. I don't think a day went by that I didn't wear my collar up like that!
Linked! Okay, first of all--I never thought I was a butt girl, and maybe I'm not really, but I can definitely appreciate a well-formed backside. Second--I love Charlize Theron. She's gorgeous! (but not in 'Monster' although I was impressed that she transformed so well!)
Your SR pic is typical of that day and age. I won't laugh because mine is worse. We all just did not have a CLUE what to do with our hair back then. And then our parents actually LET us look that way!
I always loved a high school sweetheart/marriage/happy ending thing...good for you!
My daughter in college called the other day and said, "Mom. I have to tell you something and you have to promise not to laugh." This is never a good sign because I can PROMISE you that laughter will ensue. Of course I pinky swore I wouldn't laugh and she finally confessed to buying stirrup pants!
I laughed all day. Gotta love it. I rocked the stirrup pants back in the day. I guess it's now her turn.
Love the hair. Class of '83.
I love your senior picture. You are so pretty! Sadly, I still know a few people that wear their bangs like that.
As for the 80s fashion, I didn't get to partake in it too much. I was born in the 80s and went to a private school so I didn't get to wear my hair fun like that, or wear anything remotely "fashionable" at the time. Though I do have to agree that I am not much of a fan of the 80s coming back. I did, however, love when the
60/70s peaked up awhile back. I sure do love me some bellbottoms ;)
I do see a resembalance with Charlize. Clearly the picture on the left. You're both stunning.
Great questions this week! Can't wait to see what you ladies come up with next week!
ps sorry about the rambles :)
ok number one, no way are you 40. No way. Won't be believing that one.
and your high school pic, LOVE it. Those bangs girl! Gave you a good three inches :)
I totally see the Charlize resemblence. The one of her on the left, not the right :)
Aww ... high school sweethearts! So sweet! And that hair, I'm diggin' it! I was born in the 80's ... so I'm not quite certain of the style! I'll take your word for it!
I do that with the pop up box too, I feel like I HAVE to comment on every part of a post! Good call on mentioning that!!
Smile - SOOO RIGHT on that one!
You totally look like Charlize, now that I see that I hate you more.
LOVE your answer to the romantic comedy. You are my high school sweetheart hero... I want to be just like you, I've got a pretty good start LOL.
You did hair, I totally wouldn't have guessed that! Well maybe I could have. I could totally see you saying... ohhh no honey believe me you don't want that, you want this you will look MUCH better my way. bawwwhhhaaahaaaa!
You are gorgeous, even with your Farrah Fosset hair.
OMG high waisted jeans rolled at the ankle, I so did that! Pegged is what we called them. retightening them & rerolling them all day long. We were so weird!
I can't see you not being chatty, I'm sure you can find someone you can chat with easily in a room full of people.
Request from you lovely ladies... any chance we can get the questions a lil earlier then Wednesday, like maybe Tuesday so we have a bit of time to prepare???
Retro-crush!
Adore Charlize Thereon! And I can completely see the similarity!! Great choice!! :)
First, Thanks for the fun questions this week!! And I just learned about the pop up comment box thanks to the V-spot gal and it has changed my life! ha!
Too funny that you used to bump into the dudes for a body check... crackin' up!!
Charlize Thereon is a great choice for you!! The one on the left!! You know, I have always thought she looks so much older though than she really is.. same with Angelina Jolie.. I keep thinking they are WAY older than me but they're basically my age and then I wonder if I look old or maybe as good as them! I dunno!
I have no beauty school talent-- the highschool pic you saw of me is the same hair that I have to this day... I have no creativity there! Your highschool pic is cute! I always aspired for bangs like that back then but mine never cooperated, that or the Aussi hairspray let me down... damn kangaroo!
Love your answers!! :) thanks girl!
LOVE the 80's do...you were gorgeous then too!! Not much has changed in the last 20-ish years...except the big bangs and the electric blue eyeshadow. :) Oh, and you probably don't wear much stone-washed denim I'm guessing?!
Charlize would be a great pick to portay you...the pretty version.
Just read Mamarazzi's WWTK post, and you and she both have the market cornered on 80's hair! Mine is just too thin, but I tried unsuccessfully (and with lots of hairspray) to have big hair! LOL I don't want a return of the clothes, hair, makeup, etc., of the 80's. What were we thinking?
I think it's sweet that you married your high school sweetheart! Awwwwww.
