I guess I fall into the Mommy blogger category, well at least a part of me does anyway. Honestly, I'm really not sure what I would classify my blog as. I blog about my husband, my kids, my family, my dogs, my friends, decorating, the occasional craft, things that make me happy, things that piss me off and things that make me go hmmm. Does that make me indecisive? I think it may and you know what, I'm ok with that. As a result I'm going to share my Mother's Day weekend with you, I can sense your excitement already!
This is how my Mother's day weekend went from Craptastic to Fantastic...
Saturday we went to the beach for the day, on the way there I realized I left my camera charging on the counter. No pictures of my girls or my Mom. Craptastic!
Sunday we went for brunch. After a 45 minute wait for our table {yes, we had a reservation} we were finally sat. We enjoyed cold food, empty dessert trays, Mimosas missing the most important ingredient and a bill that did not reflect the lack of splendor. Craptastic!
Somewhere along the way someone splashed their aujus all down the side of my white pants. Can you say eww, is that diarrhea on her leg? Craptastic!
Someone felt it was ok to bring their kick-dog along for brunch. This really pisses me off people! I wonder how people would react if I were to bring Rogue with me? I would dare to say that I love him as much as they love their 15 pound dog but because he tips the scales at 90 pounds it's just not ok. I believe I have the famous who have done nothing to earn their fame to thank for this one. Thanks Paris, this is yet another reminder as to why I don't really care for you. This is a complete rant and one that I will save for a post all its own! Craptastic!
I pulled my camera from my purse, thrilled that I had actually remembered it, only to see that the battery was dead. Apparently I didn't have it plugged in all the way, day two of no pictures. Craptastic!
We said good-bye to my parents, the girls set off for home and Babe and I went to mall for a visit to my favorite store for a new little pouch bag to hold the camera I bought myself for Mother's Day. Fantastic!
I ended up with a new purse instead of something small to hold my camera. I'll find something to keep the camera in until my birthday. **HintHint* I love that man of mine. Fantastic!
The girls were waiting for me when I arrived home to take a few pictures with their Mommy. Fantastic!
I'm not so sure what's happened between my girls lately but they have been getting along. This new found admiration, love and respect is the best Mother's Day gift they could have ever given me!
Honey actually allowed Peanut to sit on her car {she usually isn't allowed to touch it!} and Peanut allowed Honey to hug her {Peanut's 5 love languages do not include physical touch!}. I have a tear in my eye! **SniffSniff** Fantastic!
Before bed the girls brought me more gifts, I thought the dozen roses they each gave me at brunch was my gift.
A new pair of jammies, because a girl can never have too many cute jammies, and a chocolate zebra martini glass because this Momma loves her Mommy Juice! Do my girls know me or what?!!? Fantastic!
Whether you are a Mother through birth, a Mother through adoption, a Step-Mother or an Honorary Mother I applaud you and sincerely hope your Mother's Day was more Fantastic than Craptastic!

That IS fantastic!! Sounds like you had a wonderful day. Your picture with your girls is beautiful.
So. I need a picture of your new purse. Yes, I'm a purse ho. SHOW IT TO ME.
Sounds like you had a good day in spite of the way it started. Mine was good. Lots of sunshine and that's always a good thing.
um dude - does your daughter drive a lexus?
great pictures! you look fab in your diarhea pants.
I hope the "mutual respect" continues, and that eventually the same thing will occur at my house!
Glad you had a great Mother's Day!
You deserved it!
So glad it turned out Fantastic! :)
I thought my girls couldn't stand each other but they said (and I quote) mom, it's how we bond. *insert eyeroll here*
Glad your day got better.
What a great day....minus the pictures and the juice on your leg.
You're girls are stunning!
Happy Mother's Day friend!
I am glad it turned out better then it started.. Your girls are gorgeous and ummm can I borrow your daughter's car??
I am so glad your M-day turned out fantastic in the end!! How sweet the girls are! (And Babe, too.)
So sorry for the craptastic part of your weekend. I hate people that bring their little dogs everywhere too. It pisses me off, especially in places that animals aren't allowed. I get more pissed that the managers of restaurants and shops don't tell these people to leave. My monkey isn't a giant dog but he's definitely not a "puntable" as Match puts it, and we'd get kicked out of brunch in a flash.
What sweet girls! I love that martini glass, that is so cute.
Dude...that is some craptastic shiz that went down. Don't buy a lottery ticket this week.
But I'm glad it ended on a positive note. The pics of you and the girls are gorg. They always are! I mean, like you would post a bad pic. You probably don't even have any bad pics. I want to hate you sometimes but I cant.
The roses are so pretty but my eye is loving loving loving that zebra martini glass!! I'm not much of a martini drinker but I would fix me a Patron marg and drink it UP out of that snazzy glass!
*Loves*
xoxo

Glad your Mothers day turned around!!
Oh I get so pissed when a meal is crappy. You must have been kicking yourself over the batteries. I always forget my camera.
I hope the cease fire between your girls lasts for a while.
Nope, a girl can never have too many jammies. That's what I told my girls I wanted, but I didn't get them. :( Glad your day ended better than it began. Your girls are gorgeous!
loooooooove this...the fantastic far outweighs the craptastic.
