WWTK- #4

It's no longer called hump day, it is officially We Want To Know Wednesday!

Photobucket

Janette, IA, Mamarazzi and I are thrilled you're back for  week number 4! This week Janette is asking the questions and she wants to know...

1. What game show have you always thought you could be on and totally WIN? I would definitely have to be on one that required no skill or higher level of intelligence. I could play Press Your Luck, I would love avoiding the Whammies, but would need someone to whisper the trivia answers in my ear. I know I could rock the first 3-4 level of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire but after round 4 I would so need Vivienne or IA to be my lifelines!

2. Do you have tattoo(s)? What are they and what made you chose them? If not, would you get one, yes/no/why? Yes, I have two. One on my foot and one on my ring finger. The one on my foot is a cross with my girls name on it and the one on my ring finger is my husbands name. I love them both and have zero regrets!

3. What is your favorite piece of jewelry that you own? I would have to say my wedding band. For my 17th birthday Babe gave me a "promise ring", it's a beautiful marquee  solitaire. When we got engaged {most pathetic proposal ever!} I helped pick out my ring,  I love it but no longer wear it. For our 15th anniversary {21 year together} he gave me a new ring. I had been drooling over this ring for months and was honestly shocked that he gave it to me, he had me convinced it just wasn't going to happen. Have I said before how much I love that man?!!?

4. What is your driving pet peeve(s)? I have so many and will admit that I do most of them but that doesn't count because I'm exempt. I hate when people fly past me because their lane ends and they don't want to wait their turn to merge. I hate when people aren't paying attention and it causes me to miss the green arrow. I hate when people text while driving. Should I continue?

5. What was your favorite sitcom growing up that you wish was still on? Dukes of Hazzard, Charles in Charge, Full House, 21 Jump Street, Growing Pains, Doogie Howser, Silver Spoons...OK I'm definitely showing my age now so I'm stopping!

Now it's your turn. But before you run off to write your post please remember the following...

1. Include a link to all hostesses in your post.
2. Come back and link up your WWTK post.

Final "rule". Please know that I am in no way judging what you decide to write on your blog, I won't judge you if you won't judge me. One of the beauties of this country is that we all have been granted the freedom of speech and the freedom to click the red X if we don't like what we're reading or seeing. Please be respectful of everyone even if you do not agree with what they have to say or in some cases do not say. To quote Thumpers Mommy, "if you can't say somthin' nice don't say nothin' at all".

3. Links must lead to WWTK posts that contain the WWTK button. Posts should lead to "family friendly" blogs. Blogs containing explicit language and sexually explicit content should contain an "adult content warning", or risk being removed from the link list.

Press Your Luck, oh man I remember that show, I used to watch that all the time. No whammie, Noooo Whammie!!!

I love both your tattoos too. Love the placement of the one on your foot. Perfect spot! Ouch though...

Wedding bands definitely should be a married womans favorite item of jewelry. The meaning behind it is just so powerful!

Uggghhh everyones driving pet peeves are reminding me that I hate all of those things as well. People are so stupid!

Doogie Howser, ohh I forgot how much I liked that one!

Mamarazzi said...

good choices for life lines.

you chose the most painful places on the body for tattoos. this makes you a serious badass in my mind.

i think a lot of people will choose their wedding bands...your's is very pretty.

You liked the Dukes of Hazzard? Sweet.

When I was 8 or so, I wanted to be Bo Duke something awful. The show aired on Fridays and I never missed an episode. My mom and dad let me watch it in their bedroom so I wouldn't be disturbed as the complicated plot unfolded.

Dig the tattoos, yo.

Your tatt's are gorgeous girl, so is your ring! Is the main stone a pink diamond or are my eyes playing tricks on me? Very pretty!

Love your ring..so pretty! My 10 year anniversary I hope a big bling ring is involved! :)

I loved the Whammies! Millionaire would have me shaking in my shoes!

The tat on your foot is awesome. My kids would be the only ones with their names on my body IF I ever had one!

Beautiful wedding ring!

MY fave part on Dukes of Hazzard was when they would blow the horn on their car! Loved that! And my girls STILL watch old re runs of Full House...Uncle Jessie was so HAWT!

Happy Humpday!

I love your ring!! Babe did gooood :)

We share a lot of the same pet peeves as far as driving goes. I could have done an entire post on it, but I chose not to bore my readers! Ha!

I remember when Who Wants to be a Millionaire came out and it was THE coolest show in TV. I would pass the first few levels easily, then after that, not so sure!!!

Just so you know...you can never call me for your lifeline. Unless you are NOT on a TV show. I freeze up under pressure.

I loved Silver Spoons!!

Stacie said...

Love your taste in sitcoms and jewelry!

And I would need way more lifelines than they make available on Millionaire!

There are so many of these game shows I don't know - I feel like I'm missing out on awesome television!

I love your ring, so pretty! You should've posted pictures of the other ones because I'm nosey and like to see things like that!

Love that ring! It's so pretty.
I like your tattoos, still looking for the one thing that I'd want permanently on my bode--haven't found it--yet :)
Slow drivers irk the heck out of me. Any kind of slow drivers--but the ones who drive slow because they think it's "safer" are the worst.
I remember lots of those shows and watched most of them--does that age me at all?

I would be your lifeline? That's awesome!!!! That just made my whole day!!!!!!

I like your flower tattoo. I'M KIDDING!! It totally looks like a cross. I'm not sure why people think it's a flower.

Love your ring! It's very pretty. I guess after 15 years you deserved an upgrade? I need to hear the most pathetic proposal ever story.

Good driving pet peeves. I've been guilty of not merging until the very end but I always feel bad so I try not to do it but you know someone will ALWAYS let you in!

Oh, Dukes of Hazzard! That's a good one! You watched Doogie? LMAO!

lynn said...

No Whammies, no whammies!! I wanted to put that game down but I couldn't think of the name! thank you.

I like that cross tattoo. I'd consider something like that. I'd get my hubby's name too. so many people have told me not to cuz what if something happened and you weren't together anymore. Well that is not my plan and he's still a huge part of my life and father of my kids. Glad you have no regrets.

Yeah, another Dukes lover!

Becca said...

Your ring is gorgy and I love that you have your husband's ring tattooed on your ring finger. At what point in your relationship did you get that? And I think we should start a movement for a Full House reunion show!

p.s. I just linked up!

Vivienne @ the V Spot said...

OMGosh do I agree with your driving pet peeves! Your anniversary ring is beautiful. I'm so honored to be one of your lifelines too! :)

I officially have the Charles in Charge theme song stuck in my head, LOL...

Thank you for that.

Your ring is gorgeous! And I think I've already mentioned that I love your tattoos :)

MiMi said...

Is that the show where they say, "No whammies no whammies????"
I always wanted to whammie those people.
I like your tats. If I got one it would definitely be like yours. Names and stuff.
Um...oh, driving is a bad topic. Just wait for the posts about it after Myya and I do our epic road trip.

Megan Harmeyer said...

Oh, man I am drooling over your new ring!! I like your tattoos, too. I have one for my older son and I *need* to get one for my younger son. I'm a bad mom. LOL Great driving pet peeves - I'm right there with ya! Ooooh! And Doogie Howswer - we are a pro-NPH family. :)

Ashley Rose said...

Your driving pet peeves are good ones!! I LOATHE people who drive all the way up the where the lane ends and expect to be let in instead of merging when they KNEW the lane was going to end! JERKS!! I am NOT nice to those people.

Bridget said...

I have never seen or heard of Press Your Luck...I must have been under a rock or something...

Love your wedding ring, it's gorgeous!

Driven in Utah is awful awful awful. Just come here and drive. You will see. Everything is a pet peeve when driving in Utah.

could have sworn I left a comment but must have dreamt that! I love that you have a tat on your finger! One of my besties has her daughter's name on her ring finger under her wedding band.. I love it! Gosh I forgot about Charles in Charge.. and Silver Spoons.. I think I was stuck on the Punky Brewster channel! :) Fun week!

Forgetfulone said...

I saw your tattoo when you got it, the one on your finger. Someone else I know has one on the top of her foot and she said it hurt!

Whammies and 21 Jump Street? Yes, our age is showing if we know what those are! LOL
