First let me confess...
Last night I went out with some friends to celebrate my besties birthday. We were sitting in the back of our favorite restaurant laughing about absolutely anything and everything. The group of girls I was with are younger than me and as a result their children are all younger than Peanut so they run in a different circle with their kids than I do. One name came up and I was the only one who did not know who she was, that's fine I will sit back, sip on my razztini and listen to them tear her part. Which is exactly what they were doing. One girl even said "I do not care for..no, no, I HATE JANE DOE!" She used her first and last name {a huge no-no when in public!} and not in an inside voice either. The conversation continued until a lady who I did not recognize approached our table making all of the ladies I was with stop talking immediately and turn a nasty shade of green. You so know where this is going don't you! It was Jane Doe in the flesh! She said she heard voices she recognized and just had to check it out, now whether she heard what they were saying or not remains a mystery. If she did she has got to have the biggest balls I have ever seen on a woman to approach our table. They sent her a drink which of course brought her back to the table for a very uncomfortable 10 minute thank you. Moral to this confession...Always survey your surrounds before bashing others in public {even if your bashing has merit and is true-which this was} and never, NEVER use full names!
My favorite vacation picture this week...
This was Spring Break last year, in the mountains of South Carolina. We had gone for a hike with our friends when we found this picture perfect spot. Yes, I have a black eye in this picture, that story can be found here, and yes, Honey is sticking her tongue out but it captures us perfectly and I love it! We love being outside, hiking is one of our favorite things to do! The weather was perfect, mid 70's with no humidity...oh what I wouldn't do for that right about now!

That's a great picture!
And, seriously, if I had heard people talking sh*t about me, and I was supposedly their friend...I would have went up to the table too. LOL!
Oh sweet tarts! I overheard nurses talking crap about me once, because I was three months pregnant, and they (neither had kids) couldn't fathom how I didn't know I was pregnant. I did my best to make them both eat crow before I left. :)
Oh my goodness, I would have died! Right there. Crawled under the table!!! I wish I could have been there to see it.
LOVE that picture!
Please send me a message and tell me what that woman was guilty of so that I never do that.
That is crazy!
And your picture looks cool & refreshing- it's over 100 today - no surprise- so I needed this picture!!
Thanks for linking up!

Love the picture! I would love to visit South Carolina someday. I've got a long list of places, actually. Oh how I would love to have a motorhome and just travel the US!
Yikes, a great reminder to be discreet when tearing someone apart in public ;)
i would have totally approached the table if i heard people talking trash about me.
this is a really good reason that i refuse to take part in gossip, someone always ends up getting hurt. it just never turns out well.
love the family picture.
thanks for linking up with me still for Friday Confessional, even tho we are not IRL friends we HAVE met heart to heart and the support is greatly appreciated.
Well at least you didn't have to feel guilty :). Cute picture!
LOL OMG>...that is seriously something that would happen to me! Hahah.
Except mine would be more like bashing someone in an e-mail and then accidentally sending that e-mail to that person...GUILTY. I don't know which is worse?!
Oh mannnn that is so true. Never say the name if you're going to bash others. I know it's terrible, but I've been known to do it too, I'm no saint. That's some bad karma too. I'd have been so embarrassed!
One time I was bashing this guy I used to date, on instant messenger to a friend. It was back when I was too proud to wear my glasses...until I realized I was bashing the guy...to the GUY. So so so embarrassing. I signed off and never talked to him again! That's what I get!
Love the vacation picture, looks like a great time!
You know I'm nosy and I want to ask what's up with you and Mamarazzi (and not hosting the wednesday linkie thing) but I'm practicing my manners and not asking. Haha!
I can't believe that happened at dinner. Come on people! Look around!
Love that picture of you guys!
I'm leaving my reply to Andrea here just so everyone can see it...
Andrea, there really was no major drama I promise. It was nothing more than just a lack of time on my part to do what I had committed to.
Your fam always makes me smile. You guys are too cute!
This reminds me of the restaurant scene from Notting Hill where Julia & Hugh overhear that table of pigs saying mean things about J's character and she goes up and tells them off. (politely). hahaha! But yes, no names & probably a bad idea to talk smack, period, let alone in public!
I love that picture and I remember that post. But it was a black eye that was given with love. He just wanted to get closer to you... :)
