Yeah, I don't think so but thanks

I have been receiving more and more requests to write reviews and general posts about different products and companies. I love blogging and I love shopping so I thought that this was a perfect way for me to do two of things I love most without getting into financial trouble with Babe. Getting paid to blog sounds great right?

So far I have had no problems with the companies that I have written for, they have all been very straight forward with their requests. Recently I was asked to write a review for a company that just didn't sit right with me, the last thing I want to do is recommend a company to my readers only to have them have a horrible experience. I don't take that stuff lightly, I do my homework first. So when I'm "studying" and come a cross page after page of negative feedback on the company that has asked ME to put THEIR name on MY blog I kindly say no thank you.

My point is this, if something or someone is too good to be true it/they usually are. Trust your gut, listen to your woman's intuition {providing you're a woman}, watch for that red flag to go up because sadly not everyone is a good.

Way to not sell out!

Haha...you know we all want to know what the company is now, right?

I only have like 3 readers now...so no one is interested in having me promote them!

I've been really lucky so far. I've gotten a few good sponsored posts (SodaStream was my favorite)...and will only do a sponsored post if they'll let me review the product myself first. I'm a bi-otch like that. :-)

I have never been offered to review anything, but I do agree with you. Follow your gut. But what was it? :-)

I totally 100% agree with you! I think as advertisers continue to realize the power and influence that bloggers have, they will continue to try to work with us. Knowing who one is as a person and as a blogger helps to sort out the good companies from the crap. Way to go on researching them first.
