The question today is, what is your favorite recipe to make when entertaining?
Well, for as often as I entertain that's really a hard question. We have people over a lot but it's usually very last minute and it's always very casual. I don't think chicken and burgers on the grill is what they're looking for here. If I have the time to prepare something, or am bringing something to another get-together, my go-to is taco dip. It's very easy, very quick and is always the first appetizer gone at the party.
* Cream together 1 package cream cheese, 1 container sour cream and 1 package taco seasoning and spread on a tray. I use 1/3 fat Philadelphia cream cheese and fat free sour cream so I don't feel so guilty while I hover about the tray shoveling it in!
* Top with, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, chopped green onions, shredded lettuce and shredded cheese.
* Serve with a bowl of tortilla chips. I prefer Scoops so I can get plenty of the Mexican deliciousness in every bite.
I haven't tried this yet but I will be giving it a "shot" soon. I will be using Patron though because I do have standards!

This is one of my favs you make...but you forgot the seasoning you add to the cream cheese...its yummy!
