Welcome to TTUT, the only day of the week I blog anymore because I'm a great big fat loser. No for real, I am great-duh of course-but I'm also BIG, I've gained 8 pounds since summer break started 17 days ago. For those of you that are math challenged that's almost half a pound a day! I really need to step away from the cookie dough, or at least eat it while performing some form of aerobic activity. Unlike my partner in crime IA, I'm not making a new human so I have no excuse. I really need to stop eating like a my 12 year old athlete daughter.
Being "fluffy" and hungry makes me think of this...
It also makes me think that Nutella may be good on celery. Who am I kidding, of course it would be. Please tell me you've tried it? I'd spread Nutella on anything!
For those of you that don't know I live in Florida, central Florida to be exact. Yep, right where Hurricane Debby has decided to throw a temper tantrum. I'm a Florida girl, I love the sun, the sand, and the heat. Not seeing the sun for days on end and having water up to the door frames is not my idea of the good life. The dogs have actually drank from the sliding glass door tracks while standing in the house.
This is Bayshore Blvd. home to some of the most beautiful houses in Tampa and the worlds longest continuous sidewalk.
This is what it looks like now, I hope they have good insurance!
I do however have a light at the end of this very dark, wet tunnel. I have a date Saturday night with four of my besties and Magic Mike. Yep, Grey skies are gonna clear up....there may still be a little moisture but at least I'll have a smile on my face....put on a happy face!
You're welcome!

I'm so sorry to hear about the hurricane. Sounds brutal! I bet nutella tastes amazing on celery.
Ha, Magic Mike. It looks sooo cheesy. But I bet it's fun for a little eye candy.
Stay inside where it is safe....and put a padlock on the fridge, just in case you are stuck in there for a while!
Stay safe while Debbie is visiting. I was kinda hoping she would go to Texas so she would push some of the rain up to Oklahoma. Whatta fickle bitch!
I too will be out for the Magic Mike show. I still am wondering if I should bring a dollar or two...just in case.
Hope your weather clears up, and the alligators stay away from your house!
Can't wait for that movie, half naked men, oh yes!
Hope the weather improves SOON and your daugher can have a lovely party.
Great poster...nutella DEFINITELY tastes better than celery.
Good luck battling the weather and the weight... neither are too much fun.
Thanks for hosting and have a great week.
A.) Yes, Debby is the worst! It's been raining here for DAYS! B.) I am SO seeing Magic Mike, if for nothing else than to objectify men, which I never pass up a chance to do. Turnbout is fair play, afterall. :)
I'm obsessively watching my Weather Channel app for the opposite reason. It's so hot that my state is on fire. I've run outside twice in my underwear to do a rain dance.
SEND DEBBY to COLORADO!
My sister is coming to town tomorrow and we're seeing Mike on Saturday afternoon.
That is crazy! i hope it passes soon! Sounds like it has decided just to park it's ugly butt there for a while. That would not be fun.
Holy water, Batman. Too bad we couldn't get some of that rain here--we really need it. Especially on the fires just south of us in Colorado.
Everyone knows that you retain more water in the summer! You haven't gained eight pounds! True story: I once lost eight pounds at the gym. I was in college and it had been. Rather rough evening the night before to say the least...
I want to go with you on Saturday!!! I'm supposed to watch it with the 4HOs4 but we haven't made our plans yet. Guess we should!
I hate that Debby is being so mean to you. That before and after pic is crazy ridiculous.
I have to keep telling myself to NOT EAT bad stuff and ONLY EAT the good stuff that's in my house. My car always wants to go pick up some Mexican food for lunch every day. I refuse to gain 50 pounds!! So, I'll say that NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS SLIGHTLY PREGNANT FEELS. {But Nutella was pretty tasty in Cali}.
Love Love for staying up extra late to accommodate my laziness....and headache....and lack of internet {which is back up now}. oxox
I'm sorry, I just watched that trailer - TWICE - and I can't even remember what you said before that. ;) I need to book me a night out to see Magic Mike...
you crack me up--- you probably don't even look like you've gained 1lb and are beautiful!! I know the hurricane stuff gets old, especially when you are used to sun and fun-- and i'm stuck between both extremes of Connie's raging fires and your floods and I'm sweating like a whore in church with no rain, no wind, no nothing. Glad you are staying busy for the summer though. Everyday is like groundhogs day for me. agh! hugs!
I had a lot of nerve linking up and not commenting in the dead of night last night! :) Sorry about that...also sorry that Debby is not playing nice. Here's hoping you stay high and dry through the storm. :)
And I'm right there with you - eating like my 9 year old. At this rate I'll never get rid of the baby weight my 9 year old gave me...9 years ago! ;) I've never tried Nutella - is that a good thing or a bad thing? ;)
You know, you really should share some of that rain... LOL :). Hope you guys are safe!
I've been a slacker Tuesday only blogger too. Blah. Whatever. I'm freaking awesome on Tuesday.
Nutella! I'd spread it all over Johnny Depp. ;)
Sorry about the hurricane. I do not like hurricanes. My family lives on the AL gulf coast and I've been through more than my fair share. No hurricanes in Germany though. Yay. You would not like it though. It's been about 60 degrees and raining for 2-3 weeks now. The sun came out today and I didn't know what to do!
Magic Mike? Awesome.
Jealous about Magic Mike.
Hate the rain.
I gained 8 pounds LAST WEEK. :(
I'm not much of a sun worshipping gal. Do you hate me? I like playing in the water sometimes, but it's not my top on my list of summer things to do. However, if I had my own private pool then things would be different I'm sure.
Now, you're where the hurricanes are is not a place I would want to be. Living just about anywhere in the US has its trade offs. We occasionally get tornado scares, but thankfully we have not actually seen one. God is so good!
Anyhow, I hope y'all are ok that way. Enjoy the sun and heat of summer. I'll be thinking of you when our temperatures reach 100 degrees -- too warm for me this weekend.
Thanks for hosting!
Tuesday & Wednesday Blog Hop Mash!
it's official here where i lie they were closing the road and businesses i was so happy to wake up this morning to sunshine. Hoping things dry up a little
Wow. Debby sucks.
You do realize that in just one sentence you mentioned both a dark, wet tunnel and Magic Mike, right? :)
The Nutella graphic made me do a coffee spit-take. So Funny!
