TTUT the one were I'm one tired Mamma!

Seriously Shawn

I'm sorry for this less than exciting and sexy post but it's summer and I'm a softball Mom. Hopefully you have something exciting to share with my partner IA and I, I could live vicariously through you!

Honey left for her summer trip to Illinois/Wisconsin. Peanut tried to give her a proper send off but she just didn't trust her...can't say that I blame her she always has something up her sleeve.

Peanuts team hosted a tournament at their home fields this past weekend. I spent 27 hours at the fields over the course of 2 days and was completely exhausted but it was for the kids so I guess it was all....barf-barf-barf-I need a freaking drink!

Peanut couldn't do the "hard labor" with her cast so she helped work the grill.

Yesterday I decided I deserved a day of relaxation at the beach so I drove through this...

Chasing this little piece of blue sky

to get to this....

Yes, there's nothing quite like a little vitamin D to make things all better!

Please tell me you have something better than that? Link up and visit as many fellow TTUTers as you can and have a happy Tuesday friends!

That's a lot of dedication on your part to watch a team play even though your daughter, the STAR of the TEAM, doesn't even get to play. And you didn't tell them about the TP/water situation!

I hope you had a nice relaxing day at the beach. I'm so completely jealous and envious. I'll get over it. I'm sure you'll feel jealous at my trip up to the North Pole later this week. HA.

xoxo

Holy cow! 27 hours over the course of 2 days? You are one awesome dedicated mama, and definitely deserve a drink...or three. :) And there's a water/TP situation you didn't mention? ;)

I totally would have driven through that rain chasing that awesome piece of blue sky to end up at the beach - hope your beach fun was...fun! :)

Sorry I've been such a bad bloggy friend - last week I think I linked up and didn't even leave a comment and didn't find time to visit anyone...ACK! Sorry about...I'll pay restitution this week by extra long comments. Or just comments. Or something. :) Have a great week! :)

I agree with IA, man you're dedicated!! I don't think I could handle being out in the heat for that long. Peanut is such a trooper!

Chasing the sunshine! My parents do that up in Oregon all the time. :-) Here it follows me around. I'm ready for some overcast days please!

Glad you got to enjoy a day at the beach...I hope the weather here improves SOON. I could do with a beach day!

I think I could use a day at the beach, too just as long as I have a huge umbrella over me. lol I like being outdoors as long as I have proper shade. The sunlight is so cheery. I hope you had gentle breeze to keep you comfortable. I don't think I'd care to be too hot. Thanks for hosting!

There's nothing like lounging in the sun by the beach; I'll be doing it come Friday and I cannot wait! Happy Tuesday.

Ahh, I miss the days when my brother's team had tourneys! I used to be the one workin' the Q for them!!!

I'm just pretending Channing Tatum is my boyfriend these days. I don't think I'm doing any better than you. ;)

27 hours is dedication. Or insanity, not sure which way it swings.
So jealous of your beach time--I so need some of that.

I wasn't feeling really good about that silver of blue sky... So happy (and a bit jealous to be honest) it paid off! Glad to see Peanut rocking the cast.

Haha love that first picture!
I can't say I blame you for chasing that sliver of blue sky! Nothing like relaxing on the beach soaking up the rays :D

Wow that is a long time watching! You are a good mama. And yes I think I would be afraid too if I were Honey.

I think that you deserve an award or a medal for your dedication to your daughters' pursuits. At the very least a margarita machine!

Beach time is awesome--I hope that you enjoyed yours!

So jealous of you having beach time. I used to live in Orlando and went to the beach a few times a month. Now I live in Orlando and haven't been to the beach in 6 years!

Thanks for coming over to my blog! I'm a new follower! :)

The only thing that makes me feel better about being a swim mom is hearing the tales of softball moms. Pass me the stainless steel "water" bottle.

I loved the imagery of you chasing that little patch of blue sky. I'm glad you found the reward at the end of the road. Ellen
