Talk To Us Tuesday

Talk To Us Tuesday...the only day of the week this slacker blogs lately and I'm done beating myself up over it. I'm enjoying summer with my girls, sleeping in late, staying up even later, having no schedule going out to eat at 9 pm, etc. What's not to love! I know my partner in crime IA is not having as much fun as I am and I truly am sorry but I will say that her texts about a banana and wet pants had me laughing at with her! I love you friend, feel better soon!

Summer is in full swing and although I'm still chasing my tail I'm doing so while wearing a bathing suit. I feel like I have ADHD and there's not an Adderall in sight! My head is going a million different directs, I'm finding it hard to form a complete sentence, and as hyper as I feel the mere thought of working out makes me want to vomit! As a result I'm doing a brain dump today, here goes...

Peanuts birthday party was a huge success. Twenty-one girls climbed the steel structure at MOSI for close to 2 hours before coming back here for pizza {all 21 of them} and swimming. All but 5 of them went home at 11, the others stayed the night and the better part of the Saturday just chillin'. They are such a great group of girls! I'll do a full recap of the party later in the week.

I've decided that some people are just way to uptight and have noting better to do than judge us "Fifty Shades of Grey, horny housewives". To all of you I say get a freakin life of your own and stop judging me and mine! Saturday night I went to see Magic Mike with my closest girlfriends and about 20 other woman from my hood. I really don't understand all of the negative hype over this movie. Yes, it is about male strippers...so what. To be honest I think I've seen more nudity in most Disney movies and if memory serves there was more grinding in High School Musical than I saw Saturday night. And as long as I'm being honest here, it really wasn't that good. Gasp right! I could have seen a lot more of Mr. Tatum and his...ahum...dance skills. It was cool that it was filmed in my town, I recognized so many things. The biggest mystery of the night was trying to figure out how they snuck those hot men in and out of town without us knowing!

Honey is watching her girlfriends 2 dogs and kitten this week and snapped this picture last night. Sophie, the kitten, was laying on her shoulder and moved right as she snapped the picture. I promise it is not edited in any fashion!  I laughed so hard a tear ran down my leg!

I cannot believe I fought Babe for years on the whole sushi thing. I absolutely love it and could eat it several times a week. We did however make a big mistake by introducing it to the girls. They can eat their weight in sushi and that craps expensive! A last minute sushi date with my best and her hubby after a day of driving with no top or doors in Honeys Jeep.

Peanut went for a run yesterday and tripped over her own feet. Yes, my little athletic wonder fell hurting her wrist, hip and knee and called her Mommy crying to come pick her up in the car. After I made sure she was OK I had immediate flashbacks to my own mishap on that damned biking/jogging trail and had no other choice but to start laughing. My incident however was slightly different than hers as it entailed a strong dog on a leash, a bicycle, a camouflaged stick in the middle of the path, the introduction of my va-jay-jay and the bike bar, blood, a trip to the Gyno and a not so happy anniversary. 'Nough said I hope!

What's stirring around your head today? Do tell...

Seriously Shawn

And the only reason I am blogging this week at all is b/c I have insomnia at the In-laws house. Might as well!

That picture is HYSTERICAL! I can not believe it is not photoshopped!!!

Have a great week and keep on enjoying summer!

If I had more awesome stuff to be doing, you bet I wouldn't spend it blogging ;) Sounds like you are definitely keeping yourself busy and having a great time!
I'm not sure what the steel structure is, but I can guarantee I probably wouldn't have been able to climb it.
Love your "Fifty Shades of Gray, horny housewives" comment! I love me some dirty books, and I am going to see Magic Mike and not for the storyline :D
Love the picture! The one with the cat, definitely not the one with the owwies.
Have a fabulous Tuesday!

That is a cool picture! You should enter it in a contest--I don't think that you could do that again in a million years. Lol--cats just aren't all that cooperative.

People get uptight over the wrong things, I've found. As long as you're having a good time and nobody is getting hurt, live it up!

The way I look at it, you post the cream of the crop on Tuesday and make Tuesdays that much more special. ;)

Wow! 21 girls for Peanuts birthday party? You ROCK! I better not let Princess Nagger see that, or she'll want me to follow your lead. ;)

I was wondering how good Magic Mike would be, or if they were building up our expectations in the previews. I still want to see it for Mr. Tatum's...ahum...dance skills. ;) How fun you went with a gaggle of women! :) And I totally forgot to bring my Shades books with me on vacation...which means I'll have to wait until we get home to dive in. ;)

That picture Honey snapped is HI-larious!! It couldn't have turned out more perfect if she had actually tried to make it that way. Too funny! I bet Princess Nagger will be trying to get our cats to transform her into a cat face when we get home...maybe I better not show her that, either. ;)

Now I'm hungry for sushi.

Poor Peanut! Hope her wounds heal quickly!

I'll be back home this time next week and back to the normal groove of not ignoring people since I'll have REAL internet connection again (you know, back to reality after goofing off on vacation). ;)

Aw glad that Peanut's party was a success!
I could eat sushi every single day. I wish it wasn't so damn expensive!

Ouch ouch ouch. I don't think I'd ever want to go to that bike/jogging trail again!

Hahahahaha that photo is hilarious!!
I love how they serve sushi in a boat, very cool.
So magic mike was filmed in your town, wow! Gosh can you imagine if you would have know they were there for the filming...hahaha!
Hoping peanut will heal quickly. Hug x

Magic Mike is a movie only for a girls' night out - just some wacky crazy fun is all kind of night, right? lol I figured it wouldn't be any good, but like I said it's just one of those off the wall things to do with a group of women.:D

Sushi is just one of those foods I cannot even entertain eating. Yuck! Our DDs love it.

What is that the girls are holding onto? Do they swing out over the water of something? Whatever it is, it looks too challenging and scary to me. Yep, I'm a big whimpy chicken!

Thanks for hosting yet another week!^.^

Great Tuesday chat. Sounds like a great party and I was really curious about the film. I love watching films filmed in places I've lived or know well - seeing the town through others' perspectives can be so cool.

Have a great week and thanks for hosting!

Man, you've been busy!

How come my movie theater doesn't have cushy seats like yours?

And that cat pic is freaking me out!

I have to say I'm not a fan of sushi. I have tried it and just don't like it. Nick, on the other hand, loves it. To each their own I guess.
Love the picture of Honey and the cat--purrfect timing.

Okay that picture is beyond hilarious and amazing! You couldn't capture that a thousand times if you tried. Awesome awesome shot!

And yes isn't sushi the best! Yes but wish it wasn't so expensive.
Awe poor Peanut! That looks painful.

That cat photo is hilarious!

I agree with you on Magic Mike - it wasn't as good as I thought it would be, and I wish there'd been more Channing dancing...but it was good eye candy, and I'll be buying the DVD just for it ;)

All I can think is that your movie theater looks like a fancy restaurant!

I missed TTUT last week and just had to get a post in this week. Been spending lots of time at the park and helping my sister in law out. She has a blood clot and a heel spur and is having a hard time getting around.

Love the cat picture! Awesomeness!

First - that looks like total fun to climb on... I had to google it. NOTHING like that around here of course. I love doing the large girlie bday parties... then I would think WTH was I thinking during the party and then... once over, I always realize... hey that was fun.

Secondly- That pic is just to funny!

Last-we have also been totally enjoying the jeep rides this summer also.
